Getting Started

Powering your home with a KOHLER® generator is simple. Here’s what to expect every step of the way:

Installation Process

Installing a home generator is not a DIY project. Your standby generator will be connected to your home's electrical system and to either your gas line, liquid propane tank, or propane system. Your KOHLER dealer will also coordinate a team of licensed electricians and pipefitters. Rest easy knowing we do that job correctly with the help of industry professionals.

Find a Dealer

Authorized KOHLER dealers manage everything from installation to maintenance. Count on expert service and a seamless experience that gives you total peace of mind.

Maintenance & Post-Install Support

Routine maintenance is essential to ensure your generator’s reliability and efficiency. Just like a car or any other machine, regular maintenance is key to keeping it in top condition. Our network of authorized dealers is ready to take care of your generator.

Whether you need scheduled maintenance, routine inspections, or emergency repairs, ask your dealer about a service contract to ensure consistent upkeep and prompt support when it matters most.
