Never lose power again.

During an outage, your KOHLER ® Generator automatically keeps your power on. So, you and your family can stay safe and connected even in unexpected situations.

What is a Standby Generator?

When the power goes out, a standby generator automatically powers your entire home during an outage, whether you're home or not. The automatic transfer switch (ATS) that is connected immediately signals the generator to start. And once installed, the entire unit operates completely hands-free for you, the homeowner. Talk about peace of mind.

A KOHLER Certified Installer will install the backup generator outside your home, and it will activate automatically within about 10 seconds or less of a power loss.

Whether you're home or away, the automatic transfer switch will engage until the power grid is restored.

You won't need to deal with extension cords or worry about refueling with gasoline or diesel. Your standby generator connects directly to your home's power source, such as natural gas (NG) or liquid propane.

During an outage, your food is the first thing to go. On average homeowners lose about $250 worth of perishable foods without a generator. That’s a lot of hard-earned cash out the window.

If you use well water, you won't be able to shower or flush the toilet during an outage. No sump pump means you could spend over $26,000 on a flooded basement plus additional repairs on burst pipes or mold removal. Feel confident knowing that you will have secure access to the water you need to continue your day-to-day life.
