Kohler home generators come with a five-year or 2,000-hour Premium Limited manufacturer warranty, whichever comes first. Labor and travel up to 200 miles are covered for the full 5-year period. The warranty does not cover damage, misuse, routine maintenance, normal wear and tear, or repairs by unauthorized people.
The warranty starts on the startup date. This is the date when someone first uses the generator in a stationary standby application. If there is no registered startup date, the warranty begins on the date of purchase.
